The Mayor of Newton sent me a text today!
I heard the familiar ringtone of a text coming in. It read, "MayorWarren:Flood relief informational session at City Hall, Thursday 6-8 pm, click this link for more info: http://www.ci.newton.ma.us/DPW/march-2010-storm-faqs.htm."
How did he know I had a flood in my basement! :-)
First crises and Mayor Warren has pulled it together. He has all his communication pieces in place including the social networking messages from Twitter, etc. I'm impressed.
