I have been a member of the Newton YMCA for many years and I love it. The positive attitude hits you when you enter the turnstyle. A friendly staff always greets you by name. The fitness equipment is excellent including both pools and the newly renovated soccer field. The facilty is a lovely combination of the beautiful old buidling with modern updates.
The West Suburban YMCA has a wide variety of programs for all ages but the great employees are the icing on the cake. Ever since my son attending Camp Chickami more than 9 years ago, the human resource department has a a talent for attracting energetic and upbeat counselors and staff. My friend, La Tanya Arnold, Director of Member Services is a girl with a big heart and a great attitude.
