In 1949 the Oak Hill Park Women’s Club was started with the mission to “build acquaintance” and do “humanitarian work.”

Located in the south side of Newton, Oak Hill was one of the last villages to be developed. The neighborhood was designed as a World War II subdivision with a culter of fostering goodwill and a neighborhood spirit. Historically, residents of Oak Hill Park village have had a strong sense of community and still do today.
