Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts

Chestnut Hill shares its name with the neighboring areas in Brookline and West Roxbury. The name stems from the series of small hills that overlook the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. Boston College is located here. Bordering Route 9, Chestnut Hill is a shopper’s paradise with the Mall at Chestnut Hill, The Chestnut Hill Shopping Center, as well as, the Atrium Mall. Some of the state’s most exclusive homes are located in Chestnut Hill.

Three branches of the Green Line go through this village.  Two golf courses are located in the Newton portion of Chestnut Hill, The Chestnut Hill Country Club and the Newton Commonwealth Golf Club.
